Omarosa Says She Was 'Haunted By Tweets' In Trump's White House

Omarosa's Trump Breakdown on Celebrity Big Brother - Exclusive Video - CBS All Access - CBS.com

Manigault Newman said that during her time working in the White House she was "haunted" by Trump's tweets and was constantly stressed about what the president might say next on Twitter. On this season of Celebrity Big Brother, Rob questioned whether Brent or James Maslow liked social media after Brent agreed with a Tweet saying that there was more gameplay in this episode than in all of Big Brother 19.

'I tried to be that person, ' and then all of the people around him attacked me, ' she said, singling out Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner for blame.

Matthews asked Newman who in the White House has the power to stand up to Trump.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Manigault was asked flat-out by TV personality Ross Matthews: "I never got it. why [did you go] to the White House?"

Mathews seems to understand her thinking, but things get dark when he asks her if the American people should be really anxious about the Trump administration.

A former White House official told CNN after her resignation that many of Ms Newman's colleagues were "elated" by her departure. White House...with him.

"John Kelly and I had a very straightforward discussion about concerns that I had, issues that I raised and, as a result, I resigned", she said.

Quoting sources, Ryan reported that Kelly said, "This is not like going to the principal's office" and told Omarosa that Trump had signed off on the decision. "She thought I was apart of that [and] that's not something I feel good about because that's not something I was trying to do".

Mathews said he had hoped for her reassurance on the state of the country. For example, even after Omarosa shoved (for lack of a better word) Shannon out of the way to enter a bedroom before her, the actress blatantly ignored the move and proceeded to room with her.

Feisty and often confrontational, Omarosa made her reality TV debut in 2004 as a contestant on Donald Trump's "The Apprentice". "It's not my circus, not my monkeys", replies Manigault Newman.

"The one thing that I learned from politics is you have to know how to watch your own back and in some instances you gotta watch your front, too, " she said.

CBS launched its first USA season of "Celebrity Big Brother" on Wednesday Feb. 7.
