Nvidia Freestyle allows you to apply Snapchat-like filters to games

"Indeed, Nvidia claims Freestyle is mostly meant to serve as an outlet for creativity, citing examples like "[creating] a retro war-themed filter for your favorite FPS or [enhancing] color and contrast to make a game look more photorealistic" as possible uses for the new feature.

Post-processing effects are one of the least-system-intensive ways to beautify or change the way your game looks. Nvidia claims there are "a total of 15 filters with 38 different settings". However Nvidia had some other interesting announcements to do with gaming, in particular to do with its GeForce NOW streaming service and its GeForce Experience PC gaming accessory software.

NVIDIA Freestyle, is a new feature that is coming to the Geforce Experience, which anyone with an Nvidia GPU should be familiar with. To put it simply, its an app that connects to Nvidia's cloud computers and lets gamers stream games at max settings without any problems.

NVIDIA is diving into curious new territory with its next GeForce Experience update: filters. According to the official GeForce NOW website, players can link their Steam, Uplay, and Blizzard Battle.net accounts to the virtual PC and play any supported games within seconds.

Freestyle's more serious uses include a colorblind mode that makes it easier for colorblind gamers to differentiate between colors. Nvidia says it has "integrated Freestyle at the driver level for seamless compatibility with games". We're releasing the Freestyle game filters beta with support for over 100 game titles. Crossout and Elex are also receiving ShadowPlay Highlights, too.

If you like to tinker with Ansel, there are, similarly to above, new photo filters to apply with the ability to apply several filters to get the games action shots looking just how you would like. While numerous available filters and settings may help to add some flair to gameplay, there's also a colorblind mode created to help those with colorblindness better distinguish colors, and a night mode that cuts down on blue light to facilitate improved sleep. You can enable them via the Experimental Features from within GeForce Experience settings.
