Sony's gaming earnings up 35 per cent for 2017

During Sony's press conference, we got a chance to look at God of War's combat mechanics with a new gameplay trailer. Described as an "open-world adventure", the new game will feature both action and secrecy elements.

Sony told fans that they should tune in this week for their Paris Games Week presentation.

Spelunky 2 was announced during today's PlayStation Paris Games Week livestream. From the way the character morphs in the trailer, you get the sense that he becomes more ninja than samurai in his quest to take down his enemies. Sony also reported that they had shipped 4.2 million Playstation 4 units in the quarter making the number of units either sold already or at retail totalling 67.5 million. Here is the new trailer of the upcoming game.

Sony announced that Call of Duty: WWII is getting its first map pack, The Resistance, on January 30. Carentan is available as a pre-order bonus for Call of Duty WW2 which is due out on November 3rd.

In Monster Hunter World, you'll be able to dress up as Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn in only PlayStation 4 version. And I think we cater for that, and at the other end of the spectrum there was Concrete Genie, which my 8 year old decided was the game she would like to play very much.
