Chelsea vs Watford: Marco Silva fumes at 'unfair result' after controlling game

Antonio Conte claims Willian, Michy Batshuayi and Davide Zappacosta were amazing against Watford

Watford were on the wrong end of a "really unfair" 4-2 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday, according to coach Marco Silva, who felt his team should have won.

With just three minutes to go, Azpilicueta scored Chelsea's third goal.

The Hornets are flying high in the Premier League after eight matches and came into their match at Stamford Bridge full of confidence following their come-from-behind win against Arsenal at Vicarage Road last weekend.

Chelsea made sure of the points in injury time when Batshuayi got his second, a mistake at the back gifting the Belgian a great chance as he held of Christian Kabasele to steer the ball past Gomes.

"It is a really unfair result". We didn't create many chances in the first half, it is true, but we controlled the game and Chelsea started to play on the counter attack.

"I think we didn't deserve the result, even if we took only one point I think it is not fair to us".

Watford struck again just three minutes after the break when Roberto Pereyra scored from the centre of the box, assisted by Richarlison.

Chelsea had chance to sign Richarlison, so is Antonio Conte already regretting not signing the Watford star?

"When we were 2-1 down it was a very hard moment, maybe the worst moment for us". I was pleased for the performance of the players that changed the game. "It showed our way and we need to continue in this way". Then the fresh players in the pitch like Willian, Batshuayi - in one moment they can make the difference.

"Everything was quite quick", the attacker told Sky Sports ahead of Watford's match against Chelsea.

Watford will be frustrated, too, that Chelsea's opening goal from Pedro came from a corner that clearly should have been a goalkick.

"Of course everyone knows it was not a corner".
