Steve King blasts Trump on immigration in series of tweets

Michigan employers brace for challenges with end of DACA

Trump has expressed sympathy young people who qualified for the Obama era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals - or DACA - program during his presidency and did so again on Thursday.

"The president is in Florida this morning contradicting what he said as he left the White House earlier in the morning".

After that announcement was released, however, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders pushed back against Pelosi and Schumer's assertion that a deal had been made.

"The WALL, which is already under construction in the form of new renovation of old and existing fences and walls, will continue to be built", Trump tweeted early Thursday.

Even more welcome is that such a deal will not include a border wall.

Trump later that morning told reporters that he is "fairly close" to brokering a deal that would protect DACA beneficiaries as well as beef up border security.

"He gets to Florida and he says, 'Without the wall, there is nothing.' I'm confused".

Others argue that Trump should stay the course and not stray from his hardline campaign stance at all.

These young people are not criminals, they did not enter the country illegally; they were brought by their parents, who came in search of a better life, in search of the American dream.

An additional estimated 17,000 individuals from India and 6,000 Pakistan respectively are eligible for DACA, placing India in the top ten countries for DACA eligibility, it said.

"Does anybody really want to throw out good, educated and accomplished young people who have jobs, some serving in the military?"

Several Republican Congress members criticised the idea of a deal and the far-right Breitbart website - run by Mr Trump's former adviser Steve Bannon - ran the headline: "Amnesty Don" and said that Mr Trump had "caved".

As the future of DACA is uncertain for the next six months, colleges must prepare for congress' decision. That flexibility has the chance of rubbing some of Trump's most conservative supporters the wrong way if they feel Trump is willing to compromise in order to mint a deal. "If I don't get the wall, then we will become the obstructionists", he said.

We are guilty for the rise of injustices against minorities, we said and continue to say that we won't tolerate racism and injustice, but numerous people who today protest the president's decisions are the same people who couldn't make the time to vote last November.

Trump prides himself for having a great heart, for having children who love him and for being "the least racist person" you've ever met.

"I feel really sad that these students have this extra stress on them", Peterson said.

Hundreds are anticipated to gather September 13 at Veterans Park in downtown Painesville to protest President Donald Trump's September 5 announcement rescinding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

Those protected by the legislation are known as "DREAMers" after the Dream Act that was first introduced in 2001 but stalled in Congress for many months, leading to President Obama enacting DACA.

On the Hill, many Republicans were supportive.

"We know that many, many of them have not stepped forward. Why?"
