Russian Federation wants Trump and Kim Jong Un to calm down

In a statement posted to its website late Friday night, the ministry reiterated the terms of the latest resolution, writing that United Nations member states would not export more than 500,000 barrels of refined petroleum products to the North in the final three months of 2017, and 2 million annually starting next year. He also said he would "tame the mentally deranged US dotard with fire".

The sentiments were echoed by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who said: "military hysteria is not just an impasse, it's disaster".

The North Korean dictator responded to Trump's provocative United Nations speech by calling the president a "a rogue and a gangster fond of playing with fire".

In an attempt to divide the USA and its allies, a common North Korean tactics, Ri said that North Korea will take action against the US if attacked, but will not target those countries which do not fight alongside the U.S.

He suggests a deal in which the North would agree to halt missile flights over Japan or South Korea and the US would agree to stop its strategic bomber training flights within a certain distance of the North Korean border.

Earlier US president Donald Trump lashed out at Kim during a rally speech in Alabama.

Analysts said fresh threats from North Korea added to the jitters.

North Korea depends on China for nearly all its oil and gas but estimates of its consumption are low, leaving it unclear how Beijing's new limit will affect them.

China wants to stop North Korea's nuclear and missile development but has warned against pushing the government of Kim Jong Un so hard it collapses, or hurting ordinary North Koreans.

If sanctions reach a critical point, North Korea "will hold those [countries] accountable", he said.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has called U.S. President Donald Trump "deranged" and said he will "pay dearly" for threating to "totally destroy" North Korea.

China accounts of about 90 percent North Korea's trade, according to The Associated Press.

The U.S. Geological Survey said it could not conclusively confirm whether the quake, which it measured at magnitude 3.5, was man-made or natural.

The quake was detected in an area around Kilju, in northeastern North Korea, just 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) northwest of where the North conducted its sixth and most powerful nuclear test on September 3, according to an official from Seoul's Korea Meteorological Administration.

Japan, the only country to suffer an atomic attack, called the North Korean threat to conduct an atmospheric test "totally unacceptable".

Kim said Trump's remarks "have convinced me, rather than frightening or stopping me, that the path I chose is correct and that it is the one I have to follow to the last".

"We are prepared to use the full range of military capabilities to defend the USA homeland and our allies".

In a separate report, KCNA made a rare criticism of official Chinese media, saying their comments on the North's nuclear program had damaged ties and suggested Beijing, its only major ally, had sided with Washington. "This is an intolerable prospect that no other country in the worldwide community can abide". The regime is estimated to have over 14,000 pieces of artillery in its possession, many of which are strategically located in bunkers in the mountains on the border with South Korea.

However, the rhetoric was starting to rattle some in other countries.

And it's possible that North Korea is able to undermine them.

The spokesman, Lu Kang, said Beijing complies with U.N. Security Council resolutions.
