Tom Cruise appears injured after Mission: Impossible 6 stunt

Tom Cruise appeared to injure himself while filming a stunt for “Mission Impossible 6” Sunday in London

A video taken on the set of Mission: Impossible 6 shows Tom Cruise limping after performing a stunt where he jumps between buildings.

There is no surprise Cruise was in such a unsafe situation, and it's also not the first time something like this has happened considering numerous man's films feature risky action scenes.

In a video obtained by ABC News, the actor is seen leaping off a platform, while attached to a bungee cord.

The 55-year-old actor, who performs most of his own stunts for the popular action movie franchise, hit the building when attempting to leap a short distance from a nearby rigging, reports TMZ.

Mission: Impossible 6 is due out on July 27, 2018. Crew members on the movie's safety team then approach Cruise and pull him away.

Cruise is no stranger to stunt work, having performed all manner of unsafe stunts in past "Mission: Impossible" flicks - including hanging onto the exterior of a jet plane as it took off.

No stranger to wild stunts, Cruise has upped his game for Mission: Impossible 6, reportedly working for an entire year in preparation for a single stunt.

The actor is now in London shooting the highly-anticipated action flick. The upcoming film's producer, David Ellison, stated that Cruise began training right after the release of Rogue Nation.

The nature and extent of Cruise's injuries aren't known at this time.
