'I was frozen': Cosby accuser says she was drugged, groped

Constand told the prosecutors that Cosby gave her three blue pills "to take the edge off". In 2016, after an avalanche of sexual assault allegations and details from depositions during Constand's civil suit against Cosby (he settled with her) were released, Montgomery County prosecutors reopened their case against Cosby and arrested him for indecent assault. She alleged that after several minutes of talking, she began to slur her words and told Cosby she had trouble seeing him. During one of those subsequent conversations, Constand said, Cosby was evasive when she asked him about the type of pills he'd given her.

"I told Mr. Cosby that I could see two of him", she said.

Yesterday marked day two of the Bill Cosby sexual assault trial and TV daughter Keshia Knight Pulliam explained her presence at the trial.

More than 50 women have said that Cosby assaulted them, but the statute of limitations has run out in almost all cases.

Cosby appeared indifferent throughout much of Constand's testimony. Constand says she didn't tell anyone what happened out of loyalty to the women's basketball team which she managed at the time. She asked if they were herbal or natural; he assured her the pills were "her friends".

As she described this, Cosby leaned over to talk to his lawyer, shaking his head.

"I was mistaken", Constand said, referring to the type of meal they had. "It's really not my place to speak on that", she said.

Bill Cosby's lawyers tried to undermine the account of the woman who accused him of sexually assaulting her in 2004, questioning apparent inconsistencies in her statements to police and suggesting she was after money, during proceedings on Wednesday. "If she wanted to do that, then I would be willing to. pay for the schooling". "He was sitting there and he was like rubbing his hand over his head and looking down and I think she had him rattled".

But Constand says she never got the records from Temple University for the work-issued phone. But his fate rests on the allegations of just one woman, Ms Andrea Constand, over one alleged incident in January 2004.

Upon leaving the courtroom, Cosby laughed and said "Hey, Hey, Hey", his Fat Albert catchphrase, apparently in reply to an onlooker who was singing the theme song from the 1970s cartoon. "And those messages didn't get there".

However, Constand claimed Cosby made a "suggestive" advance towards her during their fourth dinner together, after no previous incidents. "So I just went along with them". Because of that trust, Constand said she took the pills despite reservations.

Cosby lawyer Angela Agrusa also pressed Constand on why she stayed in contact with Cosby afterward. According to CBS, Constand's testimony continues Wednesday. She awoke in bed next to Mr Cosby, her clothes undone, it is claimed. She is expected to testify later this week.

On Tuesday, Johnson's mother, Pattrice Sewell, bolstered her daughter's story. But Constand perhaps blunted the attack by saying she got confused and initially thought the episode happened in March 2004.

The AP does not typically identify people who say they are sexual assault victims unless they grant permission, which Constand and Johnson have done.

Constand has testified about how her professional relationship with the Temple University trustee evolved into a friendship.
