Gianluigi Donnarumma not leaving AC Milan this summer - Mirabelli

David De Gea

SunSport reported two days ago how the teen sensation has rejected a new deal at AC Milan. "He's a talent, then we have to distinguish between a talent and a champion", Marotta told Corriere della Sera.

Milan were widely expected to cash in on the in-demand stopper, who has 71 first-team appearances under his belt despite being just 18 years old, but Mirabelli has suggested that he will not be allowed to leave.

AC Milan, who have recently been boosted by a major new investment, have been linked with Ronaldo after his surprise revelation.

"Although obviously without the transfer fee of €400 million that the Spanish press has mentioned".

(Donnarumma's agent) Mino Raiola has conveyed to me Donnarumma's decision not to renew.

According to Portuguese daily A Bola, the 32-year-old, who is currently on global duty with Portugal for the Confederations Cup, has been left angered at his treatment by Spanish tax authorities and now wishes to leave the country.

Mirabelli added: "For the moment, nothing will happen with Donnarumma". The input we got from the owners is not to accept offers. For us, Donnarumma is priceless.

Juventus have yet to table an offer for Donnarumma, but general manager Marotta has made it clear they are ready to pounce if Milan give the green light for a transfer. It's not true that on Thursday there was tension with Raiola and we argued with him. Everyone is free to do what he thinks is best for him. We both simply took stock of the situation and went our separate ways.

"We are feeling bitter, as are our fans".
