Dashcam video released from Tiger Woods' DUI arrest

Woods was asleep in the driver's seat, and the auto had minor damage, including two flat tires and damage to both the front and back bumpers. Woods told an officer he was taking a prescribed medication, the specific medication, however, was redacted in the police report. He said he was headed to Orange County. His auto was found in the middle of a roadway - shown in the video above - approximately eight miles from his Florida home, and a police report revealed that "Woods was asleep at the wheel and had to be woken up".

Jupiter police found Woods, 41, early Monday asleep at the wheel of his damaged 2015 black Mercedes-Benz on Military Trail in Jupiter, according to an arrest report.

In the video, Woods first appears in the frame of the dashcam as he places his right foot on the police vehicle, appearing to sway side to side as he attempts to tie his shoe.

"I don't know. I'm not into Tiger Woods' head", Norman said on Wednesday, when he was tournament honoree at The Memorial.

"I didn't realise the mix of medications had affected me so strongly". When asked what kind, his answer was redacted from the video tape.

"Where are you coming from right now", Fandrey asks Woods.

Woods, who was also cited for improper stopping, standing or parking, is scheduled to be arraigned on July 5. The 11-minute video captures Woods cooperating with police, but he was clearly impaired with his speech and motor skills noticeably lagging.

Woods admitted to the police that he had taken several prescriptions.

When Woods is unable to tie the left shoe, the officer tells him he can take them off. Woods then tells the officer he doesn't remember what happened or being asleep in his auto when police approached.

In an interview with the Palm Beach Post, Jupiter Police spokeswoman Kristin Rightler said she did not know which tests were performed on Woods at the scene or in jail, but that more information on the arrest and charges should be available on Tuesday. When he did, he leaned forward after losing his balance.

"I'm following the light", Woods says. Woods, wearing a long-sleeved white shirt, dark shorts and a golf cap, was told by police that he did not have to walk anywhere. He never connected heel-to-toe. He later attempts to recite the alphabet, and after completion, he is asked to put his hands behind his back, is handcuffed and is placed under arrest.

Woods, a 14-time major champion, has not played professionally in months and has been recovering from back injuries.

And with Woods expected to miss the rest of the 2016-17 PGA Tour season after back surgery, his level of appeal to companies may be at an all-time low.
